"Missie"
was
one
of the
most
challenging
dogs
I've
had
to finish.
Since
she
didn't
live
with
me,
the
training
she
got
was
in the
ring
and
it was
a slow
climb
to success.
Nonetheless,
finally
"the
penny
dropped"
and
Missie
became
a showdog
and
finished
with
a group
4th.
The
day
she
got
the
group
4th
was
to be
her
last
show
for
a while
as she
was
pregnant.
She
won
the
Breed
under
Joyce
Moulton
and
needed
a group
placement
to finish.
She
got
it under
Betty
McHugh
and
that
was
one
of the
sweetest
wins
I've
ever
had.
If you
look
closely
at the
picture,
you
can
see
it was
a miserable,
stormy
day,
but
my heart
was
singing!
Also
in the
background,
over
my shoulder,
you
can
see
a man
holding
a child
- that
is Frank
with
Megan.
Megan
was
giving
her
Daddy
a bit
of a
rough
time
as it
was
a very
long
day
for
a two
year
old.
