"Buddy" was both a wonderful showdog, and a loving companion. He had such a sense of humour and I remember him well trying to untie my shoes as we gaited in the showring. He finished in a flash - less than in a month of showing. In fact, I'm not really sure that he was ever really show trained - he just followed me in the ring and proceeded to entertain himself! He had the kind of temperament we would wish for all our dogs - a delight - pure delight. Although "Buddy" does not appear in my pedigrees, he will not be forgotten for he joyfully taught me the loyalty and love that one of God's creatures can unselfishly give to another.
